FIRST OF ALL, this is a bellflower southern california blog...; that is, it begins or began in Bellflower in 1984 when my family moved from michigan to southern california...I was in high school at the time..
it was a return to california for my dad (who grew up, partially, in bellflower, back when it was mostly dairy farms, 1936 et seq) ...you will also find many pictures of family and 
activities outside of bellflower but related to the bellflower "clan" (ie my late grandfather kok came to bellflower in 1936 as a pastor for the Christian reformed church and also started valley christian schools at that time...which still exists today as a well-respected k-12 Christian education establishment...at the time I am posting this I do not have enough time to complete my welcome or the photos..check back for more in the near future and narration ...
