i have a great story about this Schools First FCU. Back in the day when I used to take pictures of everything & everybody (legally in public places) I was a member of Schools First. One day I went into this small location in what looks like it used to be a house for the 1st time & per usual took pictures while doing my transaction. Some time later i received a call from somebody claiming to be the vice president of the bank and also security who asked suspiciously why I was taking pictures. I tried to explain to him my "mission" (aka "local color" ) --- not sure what ever happened from that -- I eventually closed out this account and am now with a different FCU. But when I try to use schools as a "shared" FCU I am not allowed. They have me on some list --I guess forever banned . Not sure why. Just because I was taking pictures in a bank ? Get real.

I remember driving by this little historic movie theatre (Gardena Cinema) but never managed to go there for a movie. Sadly , now it has finally closed (2021)
