Watch "Y U will get a $75 parking ticket on Friday in Bellflower CA even tho it says "no parking Sat or Sun" on YouTube

Y U will get a $75 parking ticket on Friday in Bellflower CA even tho it says "no parking Sat or Sun

Why you will get a $75 parking ticket on Friday in Bellflower CA even tho it says "no parking Sat or Sun" . very deceptive ... I originally gave them the benefit of the doubt that this was just INEPTITUDE that they enacted two different no parking ordinances at different times and didn't bother to check the discrepancy between the signs and how it could be misleading to people who weren't from the area .( the locals of course figure it out pretty quickly because word of mouth and/ or they just always park in the parking lot). but I'm not really a local ( I just have relatives who live in the area) and I just drove up one day and turned around in the church parking lot to park on the street and of course I wouldn't see the "no parking on Friday" down at the other end of the street. I only saw the "no parking on Saturday or Sunday." but since it was a Friday no worries. 30 minutes later I come out of the church and I have a $75.00 parking ticket. and yes I appealed it. I took the time to do everything in writing and documented it with pictures & even made a video, a separate video from this one. and provided a link to the person who was reading my appeal. but it was quickly obvious that whoever was doing the appeal processing just rubber stamped it with a big NO. might as well be a big FU . Furthermore, the appeal doesn't even go to the city of bellflower. you you send it to an office in Tustin, which is a city in a different county from Los Angeles county. it's the neighboring Orange county. all the while you NEVER see any names of any judges or commissioners nor even the name of the person who wrote The ticket . it's all totally anonymous. so that there's no accountability. you also notice that they happen to drive by EXACTLY DURING MASS or right as its ending AS IF THEY WERE HOPING for some sucker to be parked on the street.
I wasn't waiting around to see this street cleaner with the parking ticket person behind them. my ticket was almost a year ago. I just happened to be back from Mass today and then I saw them as I was leaving around 830 and of course all the memories came flooding back into my mind.

I even sent a separate letter to the commissioners at bellflower. Therefore it can no longer be said this is ineptitude.. it's  DELIBERATE INDIFFERENCE at best, or intentional corruption at worst :
a no-parking trap, similar to setting up a speed radar at the bottom of a hill.

I pray an imprecatory prayer against these people in bellflower who are committing this parking corruption. let God do the Justice in the end.

"The father was also on probation from a prior arrest and subsequent charge of attempted grand theft of an automobile. Cedeno was set to stand trial, but was released on May 9 because "of the lack of a speedy trial." A person charged with a felony, is entitled to a speedy trial which means a trial must take place within 60 days of being charged. Cedeno's case was far beyond the 60 day mark, and as a result the entire case was dismissed. Court records show he had five different attorneys during the nearly four month stalled case..."

Sure it's not part of the Bellflower scam ? "California 19-year-old arrested in bogus parking ticket scam "

re soul-sapping experience at Burger King DTLA (downtown Los Angeles) on Christmas Day 2022 😟

re soul-sapping experience at Burger King DTLA (downtown Los Angeles) on Christmas Day 2022 😟:

Since the year 2000, I come to LA every year on Xmas Eve 🎁 for the holiday 🎵show at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. This year 12/24/22 , although I keep my car well maintained, I was concerned about my starter because on Christmas Eve day every time I stopped and started it got weaker and weaker to restart.
Normally I would have parked in the parking structure at the concert hall, especially since it's free on  Christmas Eve. 🎄

But I was afraid that it would NOT restart and they might have trouble getting a tow truck inside the structure, so I parked at the nearby Burger King in an almost empty parking lot. Then I went to the concert for a few hours. When I came back to my car, as I feared, it would Not start again.

So I was stuck there overnight on Christmas Eve and did not want to leave my car alone for fear of it getting broken into, so I had to stay with it all night.

On Xmas Day  no repair shops are open so I was trying to think about what to do.  I was pretty sure that at least the manager or owner of the Burger King 🍔 would be gracious about it on Christmas day. At least I was close to the Catholic Cathedral and was able to attend the Christmas Mass at 8:00 a.m. and then at 10:00 a.m. as well.  ⛪

But  around 1:00 p.m. here comes a tow truck and he starts telling me I got to get it OUT OF THE LOT NOW or he's going to tow me to impound with all the extra fees and everything. So I go inside to talk to the manager,  and the female manager inside said she did NOT call the tow truck.

So I went back outside and the guy is already putting my car up on his tow truck.  I frantically yell " STOP STOP NO " and tell the driver that this manager said she did not call for a tow truck.

So the driver tells me it was the head honcho who called - (a male manager.) I don't know if he called  last night or maybe he called in from his home on Christmas Day,  he was so ANGRY 😡 about it for some reason.

So this manager was so freaking vexatious about getting my car out of there ON CHRISTMAS DAY he couldn't wait one extra day when every repair shop would be open.

I had one LAST CHANCE to try to start it before this tow truck driver was going to pull me out of there ( and charge me money 💰),...

So I turned the key 🗝️ & it sluggishly turned over & it was one of those split second moments if it didn't start it wouldn't start, but if it did I was out of there .

And just by a Miracle-  I believe it was a Christmas Miracle (praise the Lord)- the car started and I was able to drive out of there, NO THANKS to the Burger King manager who couldn't wait till the day after Christmas to do business as usual 👎.

And you wonder why there's a homeless problem. A situation like this could have added one extra homeless to the list, rather than alleviate the problem.

Getting your car towed to impound and paying the fees to get it out of impound  probably now starts around $500 in L.A. And it was totally unnecessary.  It was a holiday- not very busy- the BK manager could have waited until the next business day (Monday December 26th) to  request a tow to remove my vehicle.

But he would NOT have had to do so
I have my Own tow service (Better World)  and I would have been towed to a nearby open auto repair shop and everything would have been quickly solved. This really left a bad taste in my mouth towards this BK manager 👎.

I will also send a letter to Burger King corporate just reporting why this was totally unnecessary and a lack of  Christmas or holiday spirit and TOTAL LACK of normal humanitarian compassion 👎.

Shame on @CityBellflower 😡👎and their corrupt parking citation infrastructure

Shame on @CityBellflower 😡👎and their corrupt parking citation infrastructure & their $57 dollar "PARKING TRAP" on Beach street in front of St Bernard Church.

Drive by sometime if u don't know what I'm talking about. DO YOUR JOB & FIX IT. Ignorance is NOT an excuse.

There's a SPECIAL PLACE IN HELL for freakin "admin law judges" who RUBBER STAMP DENY legitimate parking citation appeals. They DON'T even read the appeal. & around here the citations start at $60.They also won't sign their name. U R SCUM 👎😡

#Bellflower #LosAngelesCounty

A street in front of St Bernard church in @CityBellflower has 10 signs, 10 poles:

7 say "NO PARKING Sat/Sun";

The other 3 say

"NO PARKING Friday."

Normally u put ALL restrictions on the same poles. But here they expect u to walk the ENTIRE STREET & read EACH sign.

So I pull up to the sign that says   "no parking Saturday or Sunday" and today is Friday. I park & go to church & come back & find a $57 citation on my windshield.

So I look at the sign again & it still says  "no parking Saturday or Sunday" and it's still Friday I walk to the next sign & says the same thing & the next sign says the same.

There's 10 signs : seven of which say "no parking Sat/Sun" ; three of which say "no parking Friday" so if you miss one of the three (out of 10) you get a $57 ticket.

Why don't they put ALL the signs on the same pole like most municipalities do & according to Uniform Code?

Because it's intended to trap people, like a speed trap at the bottom of a hill. Or they added some later in a lazy manner & are too lazy to fix it

The uniform code for parking signage actually requires  the MOST CLARITY POSSIBLE. This is a BIG FAIL at a visitor's expense. Or it's a success if it's intended to be a money maker for Bellflower.

And why does Bellflower outsource the parking appeals to Tustin, a whole different county, to an alleged judge who rubber stamps a denial of the appeal and won't even sign his/her name ? Maybe because nobody actually reads it ? No actual judge ?

On a Friday I parked in front of a sign in Bellflower CA saying "No Parking Sat/Sun".

On a Friday I parked in front of a sign in Bellflower CA saying "No Parking Sat/Sun". When I returned I had a $57 citation. I walked the block.

There are 8 signs:

6 say "No Sat/Sun".

2 say "No Fri 6-11"

IS this FAIR? Or deceptive(or just lazy planning). Why CAN'T they put all restrictions on the same sign pole?
